4. Payment Terms

4.1 Subscription Fee

Cortid offers a subscription-based service at twelve dollars ($12.00) per month. Your subscription will be billed on a monthly basis on the date your account was created or on the date you upgrade to a paid plan. You authorize Cortid to charge the payment method you provide for the subscription fee and any applicable taxes.

4.2 Billing and Payment Method

You agree to provide accurate and current payment information, including a valid credit card, debit card, or other accepted payment method. You authorize Cortid to automatically charge your payment method each month for the subscription fee unless you cancel your subscription. If your payment method is declined or becomes invalid, your access to the Service may be suspended until we receive valid payment information.

Cortid is not responsible for any additional fees or charges imposed by your financial institution in connection with payment processing. You are responsible for any currency conversion fees or charges that may apply to your payments.

4.3 Cancellation Policy

You may cancel your Cortid subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting our customer support team. Your cancellation will be effective at the end of your current billing cycle. You will not receive a refund for the current month in which you cancel, regardless of when in the month you cancel your subscription. After cancellation, your access to the Service will be terminated at the end of your current billing period.

Cortid may terminate or suspend your subscription immediately without notice if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or attempt to circumvent payment or security measures.

4.4 Refund Policy

Cortid operates under a no-refund policy. Subscription fees are non-refundable except as required by applicable law. Once payment is received, no refunds will be issued for any unused portion of your subscription period, whether you cancel your account, fail to use the Service, or have technical difficulties. If you believe you have been charged in error or have a legitimate dispute regarding a charge, please contact our support team within thirty (30) days of the charge for review.

In cases where we determine, in our sole discretion, that an error has been made or that you are entitled to relief under applicable consumer protection laws, we may issue a credit toward future services rather than a cash refund. All refund decisions are final and made at Cortid's discretion.

4.5 Free Trial

Cortid may offer a free trial period for new users. Any free trial must be canceled before the end of the trial period to avoid being charged the subscription fee. Your payment method will be charged automatically upon the expiration of any free trial unless you cancel before the trial ends. Cortid is not responsible for failed cancellation attempts.

5. Intellectual Property

Cortid owns and retains all right, title, and interest in and to the Service, including all intellectual property rights such as copyrights, trademarks, patents, and trade secrets. This includes the design, layout, look and feel, source code, underlying technology, functionality, and all content created by or for Cortid. No license or ownership interest in any intellectual property of Cortid is transferred to you by these Terms.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to access and use the Service for your personal, non-commercial entertainment and informational purposes, subject to these Terms. This license does not permit you to modify, copy, distribute, transmit, display, perform, reproduce, publish, license, create derivative works from, or use the Service or any content for any purpose other than your personal entertainment and information.
